Aims and objectives of the CLC

  • Improve access to and use of the latest educational technology for students, teachers and the community
  • Increase attainment levels through the use of technology
  • Improve the quality of teaching and learning
  • Act as test beds for innovation and new ways of working

The Project and its Aims:
The focus of the project was to support Year 9 and 10 Gifted and Talented students from two of our partnership secondary schools with a cross-curricular programme involving Dance and ICT. The aim of the programme was:

  • To develop knowledge, skills and understanding of creating a dance piece
  • To choreograph and perform a multimedia contemporary dance sequence
  • To learn how to use Danceforms software to improve choreographic skills
  • To create a scheme of work as a pilot for GCSE Dance Technology Module

The students were working at A* - C in GCSE Dance.<ber>
