Overview of project
Kudlian Software are eager to work with 8 schools (across all phases) on their I Can Animate software. I Can Animate quickly established itself as the Stop Motion Animation tool for Mac OS X and now Windows users can also enjoy using this fantastic application. I Can Animate is now used by 'budding' film makers and educators worldwide, wanting to create Stop Frame Animations (also known as claymation). Designed for all ages the, award winning, I Can Animate lets you create stunning movies using a variety of animation techniques.
Scope of the project
Schools will be asked to use the I Can Animate software in at least one class during the term, to provide feedback and write up their experiences as a scenario. The activity undertaken should be part of the normal curriculum and exemplify the use of the software to enhance and support children’s learning. The scenarios will be displayed jointly by Kudlian Software and the ICT Register.
Kudlian Software’s commitment
Kudlian Software will offer 8 schools I Can Animate five station licence free of charge. In the event that the school is unable to complete a scenario then the school will be given the opportunity to pay for the software or return it.
School's commitment
Produce a scenario of good practice and/or feedback on the product.
Place a service or edit an existing service on the ICT Register to include a mention of the software.
Include the activity in the updates provided by schools at their regional meetings. Participating ICT Register schools will need to identify -
